Note on Current Works: Erosion of the Druie River Bank
Following continuous heavy rains on the 8th/9th October 2014 (Week 40) a large section of the river bank adjacent to Lodge 39 and behind Lodges 2, 3, and 4 fell away. Emergency works to repair the bank commenced in November and were thought to be completed on the 19th December with an anticipated clean up early in January. Unfortunately during the festive break some further damage occurred to part of the rock armour wall up river from Lodge 39, as a result some further work is necessary. We apologise for the inconvenience and any disturbance this may cause you during your stay but very much hope that you will understand.
