  • Golf: the Aviemore and Cairngorms ‘Golf Pass’ offers a reduced rate at all eight of the finest courses within the Cairngorms National Park.
  • Whisky: Coylumbridge sits in the heart of Speyside, one of Scotland's major distillery regions, including Glenfiddich, Glen Grant and Cardhu.
  • Walking: Rothiemurchus offers walking as well as cycling, fishing, shooting, pony and quad treks. Glenmore Forest Park holds one of the few remaining pockets of ancient Caledonian Pinewood in Scotland. Anagach Woods date back to 1766 and have an extensive network of way-marked paths and tracks provides access for walking, running, orienteering, cycling, and even skiing - if snow allows, whilst others may wish to linger to enjoy the wealth of wildlife that inhabits the woodland.
  • Cycling: Aviemore & the Cairngorms offer a quiet and peaceful environment for cycling, including 64km of off road routes.  The National Cycle Network crosses almost the entire area.
  • Watersports: Loch Insh is the home of the Cairngorm Canoeing & Sailing School. Loch Morlich offers a wide range of activities including sailing, windsurfing and kayaking.
  • Snow Sports: Cairngorm Mountain offers a range of winter activities.
  • Outdoor Pursuits: Aviemore is rich in additional activities such as white water rafting, gorge scrambling, rock climbing and abseiling; activities are available to suit individuals, families and groups of all ages and abilities.
  • Wildlife: See Scottish wildlife as well as international endangered animals of mountains and tundra in the spectacular setting of the Kincraig Highland Wildlife Park. The Insh Marshes Nature Reserve at Kincraig is the most important flood plain mire in Britain and has distinctive flora plus important populations of breeding and wintering wetland birds
  • Steam Railway: The Strathspey Railway runs between the communities of Aviemore, Boat-of-Garten and Broomhill.
