LOCAL RESTRICTIONS LATEST NEWS:
On November 2, 2020, a new five-level system will be implemented, in which local authorities will assign restrictions based on a local area’s COVID-19 protection level. Coylumbridge Highland Lodges is in the Highland Council area which is currently Level 1. For more information, visit The Scottish Government website.
The UK government also announced a leisure travel ban in England starting on November 5 until December 2, 2020, consisting of a second nationwide lockdown that bans domestic and international leisure travel. For more information, visit the UK government website.
It will become ‘law’ from 20 November that people residing in a Level 3 or 4 area are restricted from travel outside their local area except for essential purposes. The law also prevents non-essential travel into a Level 3 or 4 area, except for essential purposes. For more information, visit The Scottish Government website.
Please note: Following Police Scotland advice, any residents suspected of breaching travel restrictions will be reported to Police Scotland for investigation.
Scottish Government guidance specific to Holiday Accommodation: People from more than one household (or extended household) must not stay in self-catered accommodation together while the current restrictions on indoor private gatherings are in place. For more information, please visit the Scottish Government website:
In addition, you may meet people from no more than 1 other household at a time (up to 6 people in total) in a pub, restaurant or café or other hospitality venue. You should avoid visiting multiple hospitality premises on the same day. In particular, do not visit more than one pub or bar on the same day, as this increases the risk of transmission.
Face coverings are mandatory in indoor hospitality venues for staff and customers when not eating and drinking. Limited exemptions apply.
Outdoors: From 19 November, restrictions around outdoor socialising for those in Level 1 are to be extended to allow 8 people from 3 households to meet outdoors.
Please visit the Scottish Government’s COVID-19 webpage at gov.scot/coronavirus-covid-19/ for a full list of travel restrictions and guidelines before your upcoming visit.
